QUESTION: Councillor K. Mahon

To ask the Chief Executive if the Council are aware of the "Cycle Without Age" Project, whether they have considered its viability locally and whether there are any plans to advance the project? The promotional flyer with contact and campaign details is attached. 

REPLY:

The Council is aware of the Cycle without Age Project and agrees that it is a very worthy project, inlcuding in particular the sponsorship of Trishaws for Nursing homes.

The Active Travel team has a call this week with its founder Clara Clark to discuss the project, and will then assess the feasibilty of advancing it within SDCC, bringing it to this Council once discussed with all relevant stakeholders.
