QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the CEO if he now has proposals to deal with traffic management issues in and around St Mark's Community School, Cookstown Road, Tallaght, noting the serious concerns in respect of the matter and will he make a statement?"

REPLY:

The Traffic Section will carry out speed surveys on the approach roads around St.Mark's Community School shortly.  If speeding is found to be a problem, traffic calming measures will be implemented at any problem locations.  The traffic section will return to the Tallaght TMM with the results of our speed surveys and any proposed improvement measures for discussion and agreement.
