"To ask the Manager for a date for when the fire door for Saoirse Women's Refuge will be replaced?"

REPLY:

The Housing Maintenance Section are providing assistance to upgrade works being carried out at Saoirse Women’s Refuge. As part of the works, there is a request to replace and upgrade the existing entrance doors and gates.  The upgrade works required includes the installation of intercoms, automated opening systems and the provision of an ongoing maintenance contract.  There is no requirement for upgrade works to fire doors.  A site meeting is scheduled for 26th May, with the view to finalise details and allow the works to be carried out at the earliest opportunity.
