QUESTION NO.1
QUESTION: Councillor Eoin Ó Broin
To ask the Chief Executive if residents of Riversdale Green in Clondalkin could have been notified of the works to remove Japanese Knotweed on the SDCC owned site along the New Nangor Road that their houses back on to given the size of the mounds of earth involved?
REPLY:
The Council in retrospect accept that prior notice could have been given to residents of Riversdale Green in Clondalkin in advance of the removal of Japanense Knotweed. The contractor is a competent engineering company and have kept back 4 metres from existing structures at Riversdale Green. The works being carried out are expected to be completed over the next 2 weeks.
