QUESTION: Councillor David McManus

To ask the Chief Executive to provide an update on when the bottle recycle bank will be returned to the car park of Supervalu in Knocklyon?

REPLY:

An undertaking was given by the property management company who have responsibility for Knocklyon Shopping Centre that the glass recycling bring banks would be reinstated on completion of construction works in the car park.  A request was sent by the Council in March in relation to this matter however no response was received and the containers have as yet not been reinstated.  A further email has been issued to the company requesting a response on the matter.
