QUESTION: Councillor K. Mahon

"Can the Council update on any plans for upcoming work on the Seskin View and Avonmore Roads? This question flows from requests to the NTA for the provision of proper bus shelters for public transport users. The NTA indicated that there are plans for works in the area?"

REPLY:

I have written to the NTA and Dublin Bus on this matter of providing bus shelters at these locations.  It is noted that there needs to be significant area available at the proposed location so as not to block the available footpath for pedestrians. When we have received feedback from the the NTA and Dublin Bus we will update the members by group email.
