QUESTION NO. 27
QUESTION: Councillor Baby Pereppadan
"To ask the chief executive about the possibility for the installation of ramps at De Selby Court and De Selby Lawns where there have been multiple complaints of speeding cars approaching from the main roundabout in the estate. This has been a regular complaint from residents in the estate for the past year?"
REPLY:
An on site assessment has been carried out at this location. De Selby Court has a traffic calming island at its entrance from the roundabout. The Court and Lawns are both short cul de sac roads. For this reason they do not meet the requirements for additional traffic calming. De Selby Road (the approach road to De Selby Court) is already serviced by traffic calming in the form of ramps.
