QUESTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

To ask the Chief Executive as to what corrective actions have been taken to address flooding at Liffey Grove in Liffey Valley Park.

REPLY:

Drainage and Road Maintenance are jointly investigating this to identify the cause of the issue, and once identified remedial works will be carried out.  The surface water sewer has been assessed and is clear.  Connections and gullies are now being examined for blockages.

It is hoped to have this issue fully resolved in the coming weeks.
