QUESTION: Councillor Alan Hayes

To ask the manager if the owner of the shipping container at the top of Chapel Lane, Palmerstown village has been identified and the matter regularised or should the container be removed? Previously asked question attached.

REPLY:

The ownership of the container located at the top of Chapel Lane, Palmerstown Village has not been established.

It is regretted that while this issue was highlighted in the past, it seems to have been "permitted" to remain in situe.

A notice is now being attached to the container requesting that it be removed from the public road in accordance with Section 70 of the Roads Act 1993.
