MOTION NO. 5

MOTION: Councillor Alan Edge

That this Area Committee requests that more bins are installed in the vicinity of Scholarstown Rd following requests from a number of responsible dog walkers.

REPORT:

There are a number of litter bins already in place along Scholarstown Road, at St Colmcille's Community School and at a number of bus stops along this road.  The area will be examined to determine what additional locations require and are suitable for bin installation, for example those bus stops wich currently do not have litter bins present will be examined.  Once this survey has been completed arrangements will be made for the installation of additional bins as has been found to be necessary.
