WESTBOURNE LODGE - FOOTPATH REPAIRS

QUESTION: Councillor T. McDermott

"To ask the Manager to repair the footpath at 22 Westbourne Lodge as is has subsided badly and has been the cause of accidents and bloodshed?"

REPLY:

The location has been examined.  Lipping has occurred on the footpath which may be caused by the roots of the adjoining tree.  Remedial work is now included on the Area Engineer's Works Programme.  If it is established that the tree is causing the problem arrangements will be made to have it removed.
