CROMWELLSFORT ROAD - FLOODING

MOTION: Councillor S. Laing

"That the Manager report what action he is taking to correct the flooding on the road between nos.146 to 156 Cromwellsfort Road which overflows onto the adjoining footpath and to please note this has been reported on a number of occasions."

REPORT:

The Road Drainage System adjoining 146-156 Cromwellsfort Road has been examined and the problem of the lack of drainage is being caused by the roots of an adjoining tree which have grown into the system.  It will be necessary to remove the tree prior to relaying the surface water system and the Parks Department are being consulted in this matter.
