MOTION NO. 9

MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell, Councillor Alan Hayes, Councillor Shane Moynihan, Councillor Derren Ó Brádaigh

To call on the Chief Executive to provide a status update on behalf of all South Dublin County Council departments, in tabular form, on the status of the 18 actions identified in 2019 as falling under the remit of South Dublin County Council as part of the Palmerstown Meitheal/Tidy Towns Strategic Plan (attached to motion), stating which of those actions are (1) completed, (2) yet to commence and (3)in progress/ongoing with a description as to the current situation, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

REPORT:

The Community Section, which currently administers the Tidy Towns support function, has requested detailed updates from relevant Departments on the various actions and proposals agreed in the Palmerstown Meitheal/Tidy Towns Strategic Plan.

The relevant updates will be collated and a status report will be presented to the Area Committee as soon as available.
