QUESTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the progress of installing the three promised litter bins on Collinstown Road, as previously committed to, and if one of these bins could be placed in proximity to Collinstown Park.

REPLY:

The three bins will be installed on Collinstown Road in Q4. One of the bins will be located at the pedestrian entrance to Collinstown Park opposite Collinstown Park Community College. The other two bins will be installed between this bin and the Neilstown Road roundabout.  The bins will be provided on a trial basis and will be retained subject to them not being abused, vandalised or used for the disposal of domestic waste.
