''Would the Manager make a report to this Area Committee regarding the up to date position of the Older Persons Part Eights in the Tallaght and give a completion date on works that have already commenced in Springfield and Whitestown Way and the proposed commencement date for Brady's Field. Could he also detail the next steps for any other Older Person projects which are already agreed?''

REPLY:

The report below details the current status of the Part 8 planning approved projects which will deliver age friendly housing over coming years. There are four projects in total with 121 new homes currently under construction and 24 at the detailed design stage to progress to tender.

Tallaght Central	The Weir, Whitestown Way	81	Under construction. Projected delivery Q1 2023.
Tallaght Central	Old Bawn (Brady's Field)	12	Detailed design underway to progress to tender Q4 2021. Site commencement is projected for March 2022. Site start is subject to receipt of Department of Housing funding approval.
Tallaght Central	St. Aongus’ Green	12	A design team is to be procured and appointment projected to Q1 2022. The appointed team will progress detailed design on this project for tender to contractor stage.
