QUESTION NO. 7

QUESTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

To ask the Chief Executive to carry out an assessment of what's involved in providing access to the River Liffey along the right of way at Hermitage Clinic and provide an estimate of when this can be completed and to make a statement on the situation?

REPLY:

While the lands are ceded to South Dublin County Council they are not developed sufficiently to enable public access. The gradient leading to the lands in question is significant and does not lend itself to public access. The lands will have to be improved to facilitate adequate access to the site; there is no programme or budget currently available for these works.
