MOTION NO. 9

MOTION: Councillor F. Timmons

"That this Area Committee requests that South Dublin County Council works with Clondalkin Tidy Towns to fund publication of Recycling Directory and to distribute this at SDCC Civic Offices and Clondalkin Library and other suitable locations."

REPORT:

Grant funding for local environmental projects will be available shortly through a local LA21 grant fund. This will replace the 2021 Community Environment Action Fund which will not be available in 2021.  

The Environmental Awareness Office is able to supply Tidy Towns Groups with leaflets, posters and magnets which advice what can be placed in recycling bins.  These items can be disseminated to other local authority offices and libraries.
