MOTION: Councillor M. Johansson

In Chapter 13 Implementation and Monitoring under 13.7.3 Retail Development (i) Retail Criteria to add the following point: -All retail development must provide adequate facilities for staff including canteen, staff room and showers.

REPORT:

The County Development Plan  is a Strategic Document. The detail sought by this motion is not a matter for the County Development Plan.  Requirements for such facilities are addressed under separate legislation such as Health and Safety and Environmental Health Regulations.

RECOMMENDATION:  It is recommended that the motion is not adopted
