Chapter 3: (P73) NCBH 7 Objective 9: To facilitate the reuse of an appropriate existing building in Lucan or Palmerstown as a tourist amenity and educational/interpretive centre. Amend to replace "Lucan or Palmerstown" with "Lucan and Palmerstown"

REPORT:

NCBH 7 Objective 9: states ‘To facilitate the reuse of an appropriate existing building in Lucan or Palmerstown as a tourist amenity and educational/interpretive centre.’

The motion seeks amendment to the following ‘To facilitate the reuse of an appropriate existing building in Lucan and Palmerstown as a tourist amenity and educational/interpretive centre.’

The zoning designations for the area allow for such uses.

It is considered that this motion is consistent with the provisions of the CE Draft Plan.

Recommendation

It is recommended that this motion is adopted to read as follows;

‘To facilitate the reuse of an appropriate existing building in Lucan and Palmerstown as a tourist amenity and educational/interpretive centre.’
