Infrastructure - Pg 290 To amend IE 6 Objective 1 as follows: To encourage a just transition from a waste management economy to a green circular economy to enhance employment and increase the value, recovery and recirculation of resources through compliance with the provisions of the 'Waste Action Plan for a Circular Economy 2020 - 2025'.
REPORT:
The proposed motion seeks the inclusion of a minor change in wording of IE 6 Objective 1. The Council is committed to reducing waste and supports the circular economy approach in relation to waste management in line with the RSES and the Eastern Midland Waste Management Plan 2015 – 2021 and subsequently a new plan at the end of the year under the new Waste Action Plan for a Circular Economy 2020-2025. It is considered the motion is acceptable.

Recommendation
It is recommended that this motion is adopted.
