REPORT:

This motion proposes to amend the wording of text contain in Section 8.41 Social / Community Infrastructure Audit from:

-              “Community Centres – 1 large multifunctional centre of approximately 1,200sq m – 1,800 sq m per 9,000 population or smaller local community centres (350-650 sq m) as may be identified by the local authority to meet local need. Such local need may be determined by demographic, accessibility or other factors; and”

To:

-              “Community Centres, 1 large multifunctional centre of approximately 1,200sq m - 1,800sq m per 9,000 population and / or smaller local community centres (350-650 sq m) as may be identified by the local authority to meet local need”.

Recommendation

It is recommended that this motion is adopted.
