Section 8.10.1 Urban Schools COS 8 Objective 2 To insert the words "the re-development of existing schools" to read as follows "To facilitate the development of new schools, the re-development of existing schools and extensions planned as part of the Governments School Building Programme"

REPORT:

 The motion seeks to add ‘the re-development of existing schools’ into COS 8 Objective 2 as follows:

 From: ‘To facilitate the development of new schools and extensions planned as part of the Government’s School Building Programme.’

 To: ‘To facilitate the development of new schools, the re-development of existing schools and extensions planned as part of the Government’s School Building Programme.’

 This motion is acceptable.

Recommemdation: It is recommended that the motion is adopted and COS 8 Objective 2 reads as follows:

‘To facilitate the development of new schools, the re-development of existing schools and extensions planned as part of the Government’s School Building Programme.’
