Amend Table 7.4 'Park and Ride Proposals' page 197 to add at end of sentence "including potential for Park and Ride at location on N4 immediately exit 4A

REPORT:

Table 7.4 ‘Park and Ride’ includes the following: ‘Lucan (N4 Bus Corridor): Availability of site for the provision of park and ride to be investigated’.

The motion seeks the addition of the wording ‘including potential for Park and Ride at location on N4 immediately exit 4A’ after ‘investigated’.

Park and Ride locations are being examined by the NTA as part of the GDA Transport Strategy Review. 

The motion is considered reasonable.  However, the wording should be amended to state ‘including potential for Park and Ride at location on N4 immediately adjacent exit 4A and subject to this location being acceptable to the NTA’.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the motion is adopted with amendments to include additional wording in Table 7.4 as follows:

Lucan (N4 Bus Corridor): Insert the following after ‘investigated’:

‘including potential for Park and Ride at location on N4 immediately adjacent exit 4A and subject to this location being acceptable to the NTA’.
