"With regard to the recent transaction involving 92.5 acres of land at Newlands Cross involving the IRFU and Hibernia REIT will the Chief Executive comment on whether SDCC attempted to purchase the land and whether it is considered of strategic importance by SDCC? If it is considered of strategic importance can the Chief Executive comment on what strategic purposes."
REPLY:
The Council did not seek to purchase the land at this location as there is sufficient land in the Councils land bank to meet current strategic needs.
