Chapter 3: (P82) 3.4.3 Landscapes Under heading Urban - include in the last sentence "the River Liffey".

REPORT:

The landscape Character Assessment for SDCC identifies 5 Landscape Character Areas in the County. One such landscape area is ‘Urban’, which mentions the linear corridors of the River Dodder, Camac and Griffeen Rivers.  The River Liffey was not referenced under the ‘Urban’ character area as the Liffey Valley which comprises the River Liffey is defined under its own individual Landscape Character Area.

Recommendation

It is recommended that this motion is not adopted.
