MOTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

To ask for a derelict site inspection to take place at (address provided), Lucan given that the house is falling into disrepair and the tree in the back garden has grown excessively and is threatening the boundary wall of associated properties.

REPORT:

This property was inspected on the 22nd April 2021 and the Council's Building Inspector reported that it does not conatitute a derelict site within the definition contained in Section 3 of the Derelict Sites Act 1990. Accordingly there is no action open to the Council under the provisions of the Act. A further inspection will be requested to establish if there has been any change in the condition of the property.
