QUESTION: Councillor David McManus

To ask management if the grass verge on Stocking Lane outside the Airpark estate to the M50 bridge can be cut using other means to ensure every part is cut evenly? Access for a ride-on lawn mower may be restricted by the metal barrier to the M50 birdge.

REPLY:

The grass bank along Stocking Lane is not on the regular fortnightly grass cutting schedule.  This bank is high and cannot be cut using the regular machinery such as ride on lawn mower.  The area in question is cut less frequently using pedestrian lawn mowers and strimmers.  The area referred to here outside Airpark and on either side of the M50 bridge will be included when Stocking Lane is being cut next.
