QUESTION NO. 7
QUESTION: Councillor Alan Edge
To ask the Parks department to provide an update on the proposed works for Knocklyon Park.
REPLY:
The Council's Public Realm Section has examined proposals from the residents of Woodstown Estate relating to proposed changes to the grass cutting programme in their estate and in Knocklyon Park, which would allow certain designated areas to grow as wildflower meadows. The Council's Public Realm Section has examined these proposals in conjunction with the Heritage and Biodiversity and is an agreement with them, and changes to the grass cutting programme are now being implemented so as to facilitate these proposals.
