MOTION NO. 7

MOTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

That the Manager carries out an upgrade of Ballycragh Park, with particular attention paid to the benches therein, as they have been set on fire and vandalised and need to be repaired or replaced.

REPORT:

Arrangements have been made to have damaged benches in Ballycragh Park repaired or replaced and painted as necessary.  With regard to upgrading of the park, this is something which would need to be addressed through the annual public realm improvement works programme.  The park will be examined to determine what improvements could be carried out there and these can be proposed for inclusion in the 2022 programme of works.  Any suggestions submitted by the local elected members will be examined and considered for inclusion also.
