MOTION NO. 6

MOTION: Councillor Alan Edge

That the Chief Executive agrees that the public green space on Oldcourt Lodge can be added to the maintenace schedule and that the overgrown hedges and shrubs are cut back before the season ends.

REPORT:

Some hedge trimming works have been carried out recently in the Oldcourt Lodge area by the Council's Road Maintenance Section.  There is one section of hedge alongside a parking area which is causing an obstuction to users of the parking spaces, the Public Realm Section will arrange to have this hedge cut back. 

The Public Realm Section is currently reviewing and updating the hedge cutting programme in parks and estate open spaces which is carried out each year.  These records will be updated to include the Oldcourt Lodge area in future years.
