QUESTION: Councillor Yvonne Collins

To ask the Chief Executive for an update as regards the works proposed at or near Rosemount Shopping Centre in Rathfarnham pursuant to the District Enhancement Scheme.

REPLY:

The scheme for Castletymon Shopping Centre in Tallaght is programmed to be the first of these upgrades and is due to go to tender later on this year. Rosemount will be next and we expect to go to tender on this scheme in mid 2022. 

Surveys to feed into the Preliminary Design for Rosemount are due to be carried out this Autumn. In addition, as part of the design preparation,  we will be engaging with the cllrs and the local businesses. We hope to being this process of engagement towards the end of the year.
