The Homeless Register is not broken down by area, due to the transient nature of Homelessness. Applicants have indicated their area of preference on their social housing application. 285 applicants on the Homeless Register have a 1st preference for social housing in the North of the Naas Road area. The South Dublin County Council Homeless Register can be broken down as follows:

Single Female | 59 |
Couples | 17 |
Families | 170 |
All of these applciants have been offered temporary emergency accommodation, including accommodation in Hostels, Family Hubs or Hotels as appropraite both in the County and in the wider Dublin Region.
