MOTION: Councillor Peter Kavanagh

"That this Area Committee calls for a report on planning enforcement complaints in the Clondalkin LEA and requests an update on their status and any enforcement letters issued."

REPORT:

There are currently 76 live Planning Enforcement files open in the Clondalkin Local Electoral Area.

76 Warning Letters were issued in respect of the complaints under Section 152 of the Local Government Planning & Development Act.

There were 23 Enforcement Notices as a result of non – compliance with the Warning Letters under Section 154 of the Planning & Development Act and 2 Pre – 154 Letters issued in respect of 2 of the cases.

A number of files have also been referred to the Planning Inspector for inspections to be carried out.
