Housing SPC 2021 Work Programme 

The 2021 work programme for the Housing Strategic Policy Committee as proposed by the Chair of the Committee, in consultation with the Director of Housing, Social & Community Development, to the Council’s Corporate Policy Group includes the following:

• Housing Supply (Mixed Tenure Developments, Construction Programme (including Age Friendly Housing), AHB, Leasing & Part V)
• Affordable Housing & Cost Rental
• Allocations, Homeless, Medical Priority (including Updates on Accessible Homes) & Transfers (including Rightsizing Updates)
• Traveller Accommodation Programme
• Planned Maintenance, Retrofit & Re-let Works
• Estate Management: Structure & Operations Review / Community Resilience Project
• Integrated Housing System

While the programme above covers a comprehensive range of Housing policy areas and initiatives, the list is intended to be both dynamic and indicative rather than exhaustive meaning that as policy requirements emerge and/or other issues arise they can be added to the work programme accordingly.
