QUESTION: Cllr. Joe Neville
To ask the Manager if there has been any contact between South Dublin County Council and " Habitat for Humanity" in view of their recent successful completion of four new homes in Ballymun and if not , could contact be made with " Habitat for Humanity" and Dublin City Council with a view to replicating their successful partnership and will the Manager make a statement on the matter?
REPLY
The Council have had a number of meetings with "Habitat for Humanity" to explore how the Council could assist that organisation in advancing developments in the South Dublin area. A number of preliminary proposals were discussed. Further contact will be maintained with the organisation.
