14. Page 32 Natural Heritage and Biodiversity Bullet point 3 amend as follows Continue to reflect and protect the objectives of the Liffey Valley Amenity Order through relevant zoning and other objectives within the Plan seeking to increase access where appropriate and feasible. 

REPORT:

The CE Strategic Recommendation under Natural Heritage & Biodiversity bullet no. 3 provides for the following: 

‘Continue to reflect the objectives of the Liffey Valley Special Amenity Area Order through relevant zoning and other objectives within the Plan seeking to increase access where appropriate and feasible’. 

The proposed amended wording to this bullet No.3 is:  

‘Continue to reflect and protect the objectives of the Liffey Valley Special Amenity Area Order through relevant zoning and other objectives within the Plan seeking to increase access where appropriate and feasible’. 

It is considered that this amendment to the CE Strategic Recommendation is acceptable.

Recommendation: It is recommended that the motion be adopted.
