MOTION: Councillor B. Lawlor, Councillor V. Casserly, Councillor K. Egan, Councillor David McManus, Councillor Baby Pereppadan, Councillor S. O'Hara, Councillor L. McCrave

That the County Development Plan seeks to provide free WiFi in public parks and WiFi enabled benches in teen spaces 

REPORT:    

The issue of WIFI allocation in specific areas of the County is not a matter for the County Development Plan however it should be noted that the provision of such services is currently being developed and provided within parks on a case-by-case basis through the public realm team.  

Recommendation:  It is recommended that this motion is not adopted.
