MOTION: Councillor B. Lawlor, Councillor V. Casserly, Councillor K. Egan, Councillor David McManus, Councillor Baby Pereppadan, Councillor S. O'Hara, Councillor L. McCrave

The County Development Plan provides for a media park. 

REPORT:

It is recognised that a media park is something which the Council would support. However, this motion is too specific for this stage of the process.

South Dublin County Development Plan 2022-2028 will support the development of all forms of business or commercial development at appropriate locations within the County. CE Recommendations support economic growth and the delivery of infrastructure to attract sustainable FDI investment and indigenous growth. The CE Recommendations within the CE Report, Part 3, will provide for consideration of motions at draft plan stage such as that proposed without any further amendment.

Recommendation:

It is recommended that this motion is not adopted.
