MOTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

That the Development Plan include appropriate polices and objectives aimed at supporting and developing indoor and outdoor tourism and recreational amenities in the County.

REPORT:

Part 3 of the CE Report for 2022-2028 Plan. Bullet No.5 under Economic Development and Employment provides for policies to ‘Promote and facilitate the sustainable growth of South Dublin’s tourism offer in both urban and rural areas, including by improving active travel opportunities for people to access these destinations. 

Recommendation: It is recommended that this motion is adopted
