3. Page 27 Built Environment and Placemaking Bullet point 5 amend as follows Examine measures to encourage the retention and re-use of historic structures within the County, and incorporate new Bio-diversity and environmental projects. 

REPORT:

The policies and objectives of the current County Development Plan 2016-2022 encourage the retention and re-use of historic structures and the incorporation of Biodiversity and Environmental Projects within the County. It is considered that the contents of the motion reflect the strategic approach of the current County Development Plan Review and are a consolidation of various strategic recommendations under part 3 of the CE report.

Recommendation:  It is recommended that this motion is adopted.
