BARTON DRIVE SHOPS - FOOTPATHS

QUESTION: Councillor C. Keane

"To ask the Manager if he has contacted the proprietors of the business at Barton Drive shops with a view to upgrading the whole area in front of the shops? I gave the list of the proprietors over a year ago?"

REPLY:

The shop owners will be contacted, now that the weather is more suitable to carrying out repair work, and a meeting will be scheduled to discuss the upgrading of the footpath. It is anticipated that, following agreement, the Council will carry out the works and formally take the footpath into maintenance.
