QUESTION NO. 23
QUESTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan
To ask the Chief Executive as to what initiatives or projects are being planned to realise the potential of Palmerstown Village as a heritage village, home to various sites of historical and natural significance.
REPLY:
As part of a County-wide approach to heritage projects, the Heritage Officer assists with and facilitates projects that relate to natural, cultural and built heritage. One such project in Palmerstown is to engage with the local community group to assist with the completion of a local heritage walk.
Another project is the survey of Waterstown Park Pollinator sites, as a commitment by the Council under the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan.
