QUESTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

To ask the Chief Executive for an estimated timeline for the beginning of the Neilstown Shopping Centre District Enhancement Programme.

REPLY:

Our initial programme consists of four locations - Castletymon, Rosemount/Ballyboden, Neilstown and Bawnogue.

They will be programmed in that order. It is intended to commence works in Castletymon in the spring of 2021 and possibly move to Rosemount later on next year.

That would mean that it would be possible to be on site in Neilstown in 2022.
