MOTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

That this Area Committee calls for an update from LENS Media as to what plans they have in place for outreach to local schools and communities as part of their establishment in Grange Castle Business Park? 

REPORT:

Following the approval of the disposal at Grange Castle West to Lens Media by the elected members at the March 2020 meeting the conveyancing processes are under way. As outlined at the meeting Lens Media have been willing to present and discuss their project proposals to the members. When circumstances permit a briefing for the elected members will be arranged with Lens Media on their overall plans for the development of the site and their proposals for engagement with the wider community. Should this not be possible in the short term an update will be sought in this regard from them. If the Motion is agreed the content will be shared with Lens Media.
