MOTION: Councillor E. O'Brien

That this Area Committee, in light of reduced traffic movements due to Covid 19 and noting the requirement to provide for social distancing in the vicinity of local business, immediately undertakes an examination of options which could be implemented to provide for the better movement of traffic through Lucan village and a subsequent reduction in traffic movements through the village

REPORT:

There are a wide range of options open to the Council and the Members for consideration in Lucan Village. The NTA recently gave the Council permission to seek Consultants to prepare a proposal for how Lucan might look under different circumstances. The brief is intentionally broad so that the Council do not influence the options and considerations in advance of the presentation.
