REPLY:
The following report went to the September Organisation, Procedure & Finance Committee Meeting 24th September 2020
A number of vacancies exist on the following committees/statutory bodies previously held by Councillor M. Seery Kearney who has been nominated to Seanad Éireann and subsequently disqualified from membership of these committees.
It is a matter for the Council to appoint a replacement(s) to the above positions and this is now before the Members for consideration and recommendation.
It was proposed by Councillor B. Lawlor and seconded by Councillor E. O’Brien and AGREED that Councillor D. McManus be appointed to the Dublin Bus Forum in place of Senator M. Seery Kearney who was elected to Seanad Éireann.
It was proposed by Councillor M. Duff and seconded by Councillor F. Timmons and AGREED that Councillor P. Kearns be appointed to the Dublin 12 Local Drugs and Alcohol Task Force in place of Senator M. Seery Kearney who was elected to Seanad Éireann.
It was proposed by Councillor B. Lawlor and seconded by Councillor E. O’Brien and AGREED that Councillor L. McCrave be appointed to the Joint Policing Committee in place of Senator M. Seery Kearney who was elected to Seanad Éireann.
It was proposed by Councillor B. Lawlor and seconded by Councillor E. O’Brien and AGREED that Councillor L. McCrave be appointed to the Inter Local Authority Committee on Fire/Ambulance Services and Emergency Management in place of Senator M. Seery Kearney who was elected to Seanad Éireann.
It was proposed by Councillor B. Lawlor and seconded by Councillor E. O’Brien and AGREED that Councillor L. McCrave be appointed to the Infrastructure Naming Committee in place of Senator M. Seery Kearney who was elected to Seanad Éireann.
It was proposed by Councillor B. Lawlor and seconded by Councillor E. O’Brien and AGREED that Councillor L. McCrave be appointed to the Economic Development, Enterprise & Tourism SPC.
This is now before Council for approval.
