TEMPLEVILLE ROAD - FOOTPATHS/DRIVEWAYS

QUESTION: Councillor S. Laing

"To ask the Manager to repair the footpaths/driveways on Templeville Road in conjunction with the resurfacing of the road and the cycleway which is planned for the coming weeks?"

REPLY:

The roadworks involved are being carried out under a Dept of Environment Restoration Improvement Grant. The grant does not provide for repairs to footpaths or driveways. Templeville Road is not part of the 2006 Footpath Repair Programme but, if there are specific footpath sections that require immediate attention, they will be included on the maintenance works schedule.
