MOTION NO. 17

MOTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

That this Area Committee calls for a commitment from the Council for the construction of a grade-separated junction between Kennelsfort Road and the R148, given the extensive development that is to take place in Palmerstown village, and that this commitment be included in the County Development Plan.

REPORT:

 The Members are asked to review the reply provided under item 65343.

At the time SDCC undertook to write to the new Minister for Transport appealing the previous Ministers decision.

This letter will be sent.

In the meantime the Members are free to push to have this interchange included in the 2022 to 2028 CDP.
