QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

To ask the Chief Executive to detail progress being made towards the provision of a Community Centre at Citywest. To confirm contacts he has made in the matter and make a statement?

REPLY:

 The Community Department is in negotiations with a developer for the provision of a community centre in Fortunestown as part of SHD planning application to be lodged with An Bord Pleanála. Subject to formal agreement and planning, construction is expected commence in 2021.
