QUESTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

To ask the Chief Executive about what steps are being taken to take Ballyowen Square estate in charge, and what the timeline for taking in charge is.

REPLY:

 The application to have Ballyowen Square TIC arrived in SDCC as a Plebiscite. Because of this none of the range of information required for TIC was presented. Regrettably this means that each department within SDCC must invest time in gathering information about their specific elements of the work. This information will then be used to make a claim against the Bond (if any exists).

SDCC would like to close out our investigation during 2020 and move the scheme forward.
